NO GUTS, NO GLORY!
Behind every successful man or woman, there's a painful story to tell. These painful chapters in their lives are the one's that have made them what they're today. From rags to riches as many would say.
First and foremost, what is Success really? Success to me is that state of satisfaction in our doing.
It is equated to hardwork, fortitude, determination and above all prayer. You want to own that big mansion you've been dreaming about? That Porsche car? Live fulfillingly and marry your dream man/woman? Well, you have to empty your guts. You will have to face life's pitholes, hardships and emerge a victor for you to reach your destination.
Nothing really comes out of a silver plate. The golden days when manna used to rain from heaven and miracles happening while you're seated are long gone.
In this existence for you to succeed, you've to feel that pintch. Ending up at the top isn't a day's work. You don't just wake up one morning and find yourself on top of the food chain, it's got to have a beginning. Here is where the phrase No guts, No glory comes in.
Obstacles will always be there on your way to the top but it doesn't matter! Who are you to give up that easily on your dreams when you haven't tasted the sweet fruits of your labour? Only the faint hearted will give up on themselves. Ask yourself, are you faint hearted?
Despite the challenges you'll face; have a strength of mind that will enable you endure these adversities with courage.
Above all pray and ask your creator for guidance and protection because you're never alone. "For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future..."
To me this concludes that I am not a failure and will never be only if I believe in Him.
As I wind up, I've come to learn that good things come those who seat and wait, but great things will always come to those who get off their seats and do anything they possibly can to make it happen.
Remember No pain, No gain!
